4th of July in Carson City, NV at Russ and Emily's Home

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
"God Bless America"

Russ and Neal barbequed Rib eye steaks and corn on the cob. YUM
we also made Homemade icecream.

Here is the crew chowing down!
Saturday at 6:30 am Neal went to the RR museum to watch them fire up the 2 steam locomotives. He was in hog heaven. The public was able to ride one of the trains and the other one was for show it was an 1873Inyo the oldest wood burning locomotive with its orignal boiler. It only comes out once a year. It was in the movie the "Great Train Chase". Neal is by it. It was very pretty.
The girls went in one car
The boys in another.

Parker was so cute he would pull his arm down to the engineer to blow his whistle

Here we are Me, Carol and Emily by a big cannon and the national guardsmen.
Me and dad with the BIG cannon in the back ground
In the park listening to the concert, there were at least 1,000 people in the park.
The town of Genoa

Parker wanted so much to like the fireworks but it was just too scary
Hannah loved them and had no fear. Wait til next year!

The fireworks were real pretty and lots of them.
The kids fell asleep, it was a pretty big day for them and they were so good.
Here is me with one baby and dad with another!!
Here is the crew. Emily took the picture

Here is Russ waterskiing. I tried to put in the video of it and after almost an hour of loading it shows up as a black square. So I quess I will have to have a leesson on videos. Well Russ was on 2 skis and was able to drop one and ski on just one. he was really good. I had it all on video darn.
Here is Dad on the pier after our boat ride.
This is the cute golf cart that took us around. They had a parade of patriotic golf carts earlier.
The yellow and the blue umbrellas is where we were.
We packed a nice lunch and sure enjoyed the day.

Dad is "Tubing" He is being pulled by the boat. The boat goes in circles to make waves and it can really bump you around. They were real nice and didn't go too fast. They went way fast with their 16 year old son. He was flying in the air, but never fell off. Oh youth!
I decided to give it a try.
It was alot of fun. They went real slow for me. Then I gave them the thumbs up to go faster! Notice how blue the water is. I have a video of me Tubing but it was still loading after 45 min. so I canceled it. I am too impatient when I really don't know what I am doing in the first place.

Carol and I took the Kayak over to a private beach called China Beach. We also went through a tunnel of pilings. The shore was so pretty and the water was so blue. It was very relaxing.
Parker and Hannah were so cute at the Lake. Parker liked the Kayak until Russ and Emily put him in with them, he wanted out!!
By the looks of Dad and Lilly I guess you can tell we had a big weekend!!
It sure was fun.
