Valentines Day 2009
Neal bought me a new 2008 Toyota Avalon fully loaded. We had Russ and Emily come down to go with Neal to "make a deal" and deal he made. He was able to get the car 800 below what the dealer paid for it and over 5,000 below the asking price. Thanks Russ!!!We love the car. Russ spent most of the day teaching us how to work all the whistles and bells.
Like Navigation, Blue tooth, 6 CD player, how to work all the signal switches, Ipod hook up, moon roof and all the short cuts on the steering wheel.

Valentines Dinner
Our 1st meal on our new table!

Emily and I had so much fun cooking and playing with the kids
while Russ and Neal played with the car.
Thanks to Emily for helping me update my blog and putting in music on my blog, I hope you enjoy "Elvis"

Tuckered out after a big day.

We went to Michael's to celebrate the 5 Birthday's.
Callie and Gracie were in January and Carol, Jaime and Neal in February. We were so excited to be able to be at the Baptism of Grace and Callie.
Steve was a real proud dad and gracie was so cute.
Ed and Callie and family flew in from Texas so the girls
who are 9 days apart could be baptised on the same day.

The girls were so cute in their matching dresses.

Here is all of our family that was able to go to the baptism.
It was a proud day for all!
Oh yea a little side note.
Jaime announced that she is expecting the end of August.

Jaime and Rebecca did a bang up job on the refreshments after the baptism
where lots of friends and family attended. The donuts were a real hit!!!

We went to Buena Park and picked up our new dining room furniture. No one will deliver to Ridgecrest! It was a wild ride home, we even had a box in the cab of the truck. We had friends help us unload when we got home. It took us hours to open all the boxes and unwrap all the furniture. Neal had to take a huge truck load of boxes to the dump.
But it was all worth it. I love our new dining room furniture. Dad still has 2 chairs to put together and re center the chandelier.

This is the Story of
Little Red Ridinghood
She got up early in the morning to get ready for a fun Halloween day.
Her brother Parker was all ready
and so was her Pa's dog Lilly (the bumble Bee)She went out exploring and stopped to smell (well pick) the flowers.

She decided to go for a walk in the "Forest"

"Oh My" she said, I think I hear a strange noise.
I hope there is not a Big Bad Wolf in the forest

Out from the trees in the forest came a
Big Bad Wolf who wanted the goodies in her basket.

She was so afraid that she
dropped her basket and ran.
She decided the forest
was not a good place for her to be.

She decided to find a Super Hero and there appeared
Superman to her rescue.
They had fun carving Pumpkins.
She like the Witch one that Pa carved
and the Ghost that Mommy carved
And the happy face Mormor carved.
But she did not like the one the Big Bad Wolf
carved of a Pumkin throwing up on her Mormor's
Happy little Pumpkin.

It took her by surprise
and down she went.

She wanted to go Trick or Treating
but got scared of a Scarecrow and Ghost

Superman said "I'll protect you and show you
how to get lots of candy. So off they went.
He came to the first door and Knocked 3 times and
waited and then the door opened and he said
"Trick or Treat"
And to her surprise the door opened
and a very friendly man filled there baskets
with candy.

Superman said this time you knock.
So Little Red Ridinghood bravely
knocked at the door, keeping Superman in her sights!
Wow it worked, more candy in her basket.

When her little legs could go no farther.
She wanted to go home

She decided that Halloween was a super fun day.
She even shared her treats
with the Big Bad Wolf.
The End

I watched the kids for a week while Allison and Brian went to Hawaii.
This is the way Summer eats her hamburger. First, she eats the meat.
Then she eats the bun!
